Considering the week I’ve had, I felt it appropriate to blog about stress management. It’s important that we care for ourselves and manage stress because it can have long lasting effects on our quality of life.
Often times, stress will manifest when we carry over yesterday’s concerns into our present day experience. An accumulation will almost always end up in a high stress level. Therefore, we must be able to “dump” all of our concerns from the previous day and concentrate on today.
Here’s a stress busting tip!
Resolve right now to release every thought from yesterday and be only mindful of the now…focus only on this thought…this breath…this moment. Then take three deep breaths and slowly release each one.
As you breathe deeply; feel each and every concern, problem, and unresolved issue begin to dissolve. Do not focus on your problems. For now, you are only to be in this very moment.
Now go to your inner quiet place. Go deep inside to a place where you feel that you are at peace, and then just relax; breathe in deeply and enjoy the feeling. This is how it feels to be one with yourself.
Use this special time and place to be calm. Free your mind and body of all worry, regret, disappointment, anger, and grief.
